Guest guest
Yep, same problem here during diet intiation, previously during hosp admissions it had been the only thing he liked about the damn place. Doubly hard when he was moved from a single to a shared room and the other kid's mother kept plying her non keto kid with MacD's I had to keep taking out of the room, it wasn't pleasant. But I guess they have them in hospitals cos kiddies that aren't on special diets would obviously be rapt to have one there, plus the familiarity of something they are used to (in most cases) having.... Not too much of an issue now though, because yes, they are amazing how they adjust, and like I said, he does get a drink and toy from there now and then, unavoidable really, as it is right outside the outpatients clinic and lab, which is thankfully the only place we really visit there lately. ----- Original Message ----- > - our Children's hospital has a McD's inside, too- so hard when Noah knew that and all week during diet initiation that was the only thing on his mind!!! Good thing is now he doesn't mind McD's a bit. Our nearby McD's has a playland and we decided to go there last week. He said in disgust " I can't eat at Mc's!! " I told him- " don't worry, I'll bring your hot dog, watermelon, & cream. " That made him happy, he was ok & off we went!! He personally loves to feed his fries and tear 's cheeseburger in smaller pieces. My sensational keto 3-year-old. They are amazing, aren't they? > > Steph
