Guest guest
email me at lmussaw@... in TN list volume I enjoy this list but it is very high volume. Is there any chance that there could be a limit put on posts per day, per person? Many of my lists have limits per person and it keeps the list manageable.Alternatively, does anyone know of a lower volume low carb list? Thank you,
Guest guest
I agree about the pasting a phrase so the response makes sense! Sometimes mails come through wit a comment and I have no earthly idea what the reply refers too! With the volume, and I do read most mails) of this list I believe it to be a must! LMHO in TN Re: list volume You know, you can go into your mail setting and choose NOT to quote the original message. That way when you reply the original is not attached to the bottom. However, you may need to cut and paste a phrase to make your reply make sense.

Guest guest
I agree, ! I'm sure the *writer* knows what they meant at the time but the readers haven't an earthly clue as to what it's about. I end up deleting a lot of stuff that would make sense if it contained something about what the comment is in reference to. -Marlena > >I agree about the pasting a phrase so the response makes sense! Guest guest
Maybe it was because he was responding to someone who insinuated that he (the person using the software) was incompetent at something technical - email software - I'm sure that's a very offensive thing to say to Red, of all people . Guest guest
Red, Just for the sheer essence of keeping the peace, I will not allow myself to totally respond the way I would like to, to your rude comment. But all I would like to say in response is, use the way that works best for you. If having to take a minute to sort out your mail causes you so much trouble, find a less active list. And if you would like for us to keep your thoughts and advice in mind, there is a better way to suggest it to us that would make us more ready to comply. You know how the old saying goes " you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar " . You are seriously in my prayers for your unkind, unnecessary remarks. Guest guest
Vered, I do agree with everyone that stated that we must do better with our quotes and to include various other directors in our headings. And I can see where both you and Red might have thought I was referring to him in my previous email, however, I was not. And I apologize to you, Red, and everyone else if it was taken that way. I was merely commenting on all of our various skills and that some of us are still learning. It was not my intention to be snide or imply anything else. But thanks for bringing this to my attention and I have no ill feelings towards anyone on this list. Guest guest
Keisha, Yes, I did misunderstand, and thanks for clarifying that . From the style of your email (this one and the previous one to Red), I see you could not possibly have really meant to insult him, it is not in your nature. Just one of those problems with written communications, it's sometimes difficult to know what the person writing really means. Thank you for being patient enough to calm us all down . (Well, me at least...). Guest guest
Vered, I was just thinking the same thing about how things can get so twisted in written communications. Great minds think alike! :-) And I too am going to download that program that Terri was talking about...I'm sure it will make a big difference!
