Guest guest
A meg is a Magnetoencephalography. It records the magnectic activity in your brain, which is given off by electical impulses. Any activity your body does give off these impulses. They will try and figure out where her seizures are coming from. Only a couple of these machines in the country. I guess it could be considered experimental. Leah has absence seizure, we are on keppra and are about to try the felbamate. Worried about the felbamate. Did your child do OK. What is a doose. Many of the doose kids seem to respond well to the drug, it has limited side effects, and has a long half life. We're still chasing seizure freedom, but have seen a reduction in the number. > > > mother of Jackie > age
Guest guest
Barbara, My son has been on Felbatol since January and with it and the Atkins diet, we have 98% seizure control. We have breakthrough head drops with sneaking of food or illness on occasion but he is doing great. No side effects other than insomnia and we give his entire dose in the am and he sleeps great now. Good luck
