Guest guest
Dear Carolyn, After reading your e-mail about eal the other day, and also the response other parents posted in reply to you, I tried to find information regarding other clinics/hospitals in France that might be running the Ketogenic Diet. Sadly since my last attempt to learn the language was a complete failure, back in 1974, you might imagine how unstuck I became. I have listed below two possible organisations you could check further, and see if they might be able to help you, but alas I couldn't find a website for the one based in Lyon. I hope either or both might be of some benefit to you, Best wishes, Phil http://www.bfe.asso.fr/http://www.bfe.asso.fr/> Ligue Francaise contre l'Epilepsie <>Centre Hospitalier Lyon-Sud 3B, F - 69310 Pierre-Benite, +33 78 86 17 89, +33 78 86 33 32 (fax)
Guest guest
Phil, Thank you for your help but I already asked for these organisations. In France, there are actually 2 professors who know about keto diet but I try to get in touch with them but no way to succeed!Even by others doctors, I feel like they don't care about my son's case.... Today I spent my day on the phone and they didn't phone me back, and they promised....so I'm desesperated and angry! aël is very bad, he 's got 2mg x 2 valium intra rectal every night and nothing good, tonight the seizures continued to 3 am (15h), so I phoned the neuro but nothing to do else apparently! We live in Toulouse in the South of France and the professors more interested in keto diet (if they are!!!!?????) are in Paris or Marseille and Nath is not transportable....and here the social security says " you 've got good neuros here in toulouse so no refund somewhere else!!!!! " so.... Thank for being there Carolyn, aël's mum very sad and worried French Organisations/Groups-Carolyn Dear Carolyn, After reading your e-mail about eal the other day, and also the response other parents posted in reply to you, I tried to find information regarding other clinics/hospitals in France that might be running the Ketogenic Diet.
