Guest guest
My dermatologist recommended that we do a biopsy of the skin on my face. Has anyone had this? I am wondering what this will tell him? It sounds like it may rule out things, like Lupus, but can't tell me yes, this is rosacea. Thanks for your input. Guest guest
A skin biopsy can rule out certain conditions and can verify others, such as seb derm. I had a biopsy several years ago, but all it confirmed was seb derm and skin inflammation (duh!) I believe that the biopsy's use in confirmation of rosacea is questionable. It did not confirm rosacea in my case but probably ruled out several other possibilities. ~Jim ***************************************************************** My dermatologist recommended that we do a biopsy of the skin on my face.
