Can't really answer your questions, but gotta know: are you in Texas? It was 106 here today.....never saw birds pant until this week. I've only lived in Texas since last September.....

My rheumatologist diagnosed me thru bloodwork. At first he thought it was fibromyalgia with IBS. Then tests showed I was really low on vit. D. I had made an appt. with a gastro guy and he said it was not IBS. He did an upper GI, but it came back normal. Gastro guy said he didn't need to see me for 3 months. My question is, should I be monitored more closeley than a 3 mo. check-up? And my sed rate was at 60, then went down to 38. It shouldn't be above 30. Anyone have high sed rates?I made my first loaf of bread from scratch today. Recipe called for white bean flour, which I didn't have, so I substituted fava flour instead. Are they the same or is there a difference? It turned out pretty good. No problem finding a warm place for it to rise in this 106 degree day. Thanks,

Arizona.....land of eternal sunshine....where you can get third degree

burns on your feet if you walk on concrete without shoes. If my oven ever went

out in the summer....no worries....I could fry eggs on my patio and bake bread

in my car. Feel sorry for us Arizonans yet? LOL! J

I never bought that "dry heat" business -- when it's hot it's HOT!

Good luck today, may you never leave your air conditioning!

in TN (it's only 102 today)

Not really. Just kidding - I feel sorry for everybody dealing with extreme heat. Yuck! :o) My neighbors just moved to Tucson and are calling us to gloat about having A/C. We are in the SF Bay Area in the middle of a heatwave. The predicted high on Saturday - when we are moving - is 103!!! And neither place has A/C!!! This is the Bay Area! We're not supposed to have to deal with this - dang global warming! :oP

We are in the inland area in so cal and it has been triple digits as high as 111

where we are with just a few days of relief in between but 111 is hot whether it

is dry or not!!!!! My son had swimming lessons yesterday and I felt like I was

melting! UGH. I also grew up with humidity and I can tell you that when it's

hot, it's hot, whether its dry or not! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

LOL.

I just moved TO Texas from Illinois....but they say it's hot there, too. I'm in Garland right now, since last September.
