Guest guest Posted April 8, 2000 Report Share Posted April 8, 2000 Dr. Rutledge, I, for one, never doubted you. By the way I bought a pair of 1x pants yesterday and they fit! Perfectly!!!!! I was in 3x before surgery. I am one happy lady!!! Thank you. I also saw my gastroenterologist yesterday. He drew some blood for tests that will be faxed to you. He was very impressed with how well I am doing. I spent a good amount of time with his PA. She was very interested in learning about the procedure and the advantages it has over the other weight loss surgeries. I was more than happy to share with her. I feel sooooo good now as compared with the way I felt prior to surgery. I love the freedom that shedding this 60 pounds has given me. I can cross my legs when sitting. I have a lap my grandchildren can sit on while I read to them. I have a waistline. I can drive with my seat a normal distance from the steering wheel. LIFE IS GOOD!! I too, have heard negative things about this procedure from a friend who is a doctor and another who is a RN....so, I would like to know the same thing. As far as it being " garbage " that they don't have time.....that is simply a matter of opinion don't you think? Or better yet, Priority. My priority is my job so I may go for a couple days before I even log on....and I literally live at my job. SO, if I were a doctor or lawyer or such...it very well may be that I simply wouldn't have the time. She has every right to ask anything she is concerned about. If you re-read it you will see that she indicates that her " friend " has informed her that Dr. Rutledge was some how hiding twelve deaths that had occurred as a result of MGB. That's real offensive because it is not true. This site is very important to many who are in the beginning stages of exploring the MGB and sit doesn't need to be cluttered up with innuendoes and rumors. I challelnge Pinkrose and her friend to document these twelve deaths. Asking questions and implying that a doctor is being deceptive about the results of his surgery are two entirely different matters. Joe Arrowood@... Either on the web or via telephone or mail you can find out about any doctor through the states medical board. You can also see if there are any cases pending on him. Ya'll might want to watch what you say before you say it. If you are accusing someone of something that is false and could screw up his reputation it is called slander.
