Believe me.....I know how hard it is to quit smoking, I quit 4years ago and let me tell you......if I could do it, anyone can, like they say........it just takes practice! hugs...... karol QUITTING SMOKING That is one of the toughest things I had to do. I have smoked for 23 years, and am going on just 3 months smoke free right now. This is probably the 10th time I have tried to quit. Even with my heart problems and defibrillator, I just could,t put them down. I now use the gum and only pop a piece in when I am desparate. Now it's like, this is the longest time I have been without a smoke, so I would be so mad at ME if I picked one up. The urges do not last long at all...just do anything to get thru them besides lighting up. I think now that smoking is banned everywhere has also helped. The temptation is not there, and thankfully for me, no one in my family smokes, so I do not have to smell it. Anyway, I just kinda jumped in on your whole smoking thang....sorry.
