There are very passionate feelings about what's happening on both sides. It has possibility of spiraling out of control very quickly, as evidenced on another listserver. Also, I wanted to say a word with regard to requests for financial assistance for charities, etc. It's wonderful to participate in this kind of thing and I know many of us do contribute and take part in various fund raisers from supporting our kids' schools to national organizations. It's not appropriate to post this on Listen-up, however. I don't want anyone feeling uncomfortable and that they should contribute just because it's posted here.
