Hi everyone,

I just want to let you know that I had surgery on 4/6 and I am back home

now. I am so glad it is over. I was so nervous before surgery that I felt

sick! That went away as soon as they gave me some " I don't care " medicine.

Since surgery I have had a lot of gas but that seems to be getting better the

more I move around. Paige is doing well also. She and her mother are so sweet!

Also thanks to in Raleigh for coming by to visit although I could hardly

stay awake! LOL Well , I think I will be going to rest now.

Congratulations !

I'll have to remember to ask for some of that " I don't care " medicine lol! I

have been such a space case today, I can't imagine what I'm going to be like

Monday am!

Paige,

Do you my any chance know what they gave you? Did they give it to you as

soon as they started the IV. The reason I ask is because I am the one on

this list that was scheduled to have an open RYN in 1996 and changed my mind

due yo my freaking out about the procedure. I am don't forsee myself being

" as " bad this time ( I ahve had a Lap before) but just the thought of being

put out and surgery scares me. I remember the time I went in for Nerve

Blocks on my spine and was scared. They gave me something that I describe as

being partially awake but not caring what the heck happened. I hope this is

the same stuff.

Anyhow, I am glad everything worked out for you. I have my packet ready to

Fed-Ex tomorrow and then sit back and wait for a date in the early part of

May, I hope.
