It's a miracle!

Thank you all so much for your prayers... I'm very grateful.

You've created a MIRACLE!! I called my GI, he's out, got his backup to call

me back - explained everything, no prob, he called the ER, I handed them my

handy-dandy medical history (handsomely and neatly laid out on a single page,

thank you for your suggestions Karyn and E), sat in the waiting room for...

oh... fourteen seconds, went back to the ER, lovely pleasant sharp nurse,

courteous child doctor, single-shot IV (which is it's own miracle, since I

was born without veins), ten units morphine (OUT of Demerol?? Amazing!!)

Between the time I left the house, went to the ER, stopped by Walgreen's to

pick up a different script and a supermarket for a couple odds'n'ends, I was

home in exactly TWO HOURS. I'm still flippin' out.

The one shot of morphine was enough to make me be able to stand upright

again, I was praised by both the nurse and the doctor for the tidy medical

history (and assured by both of them, as well, that it sped up the process mor

e than they could possibly tell me); the doc said to take 50% additional meds

for another day or so, taper back down and if I continued to have problems

come right back in -- bada-bing, bada-boom -- no fuss no muss.

Thank the stars and all the powers that be, things involving medical

personnel, the hospital/ER, and ME, went off without a hitch. And a big

hearty " Thank You! " to each of you that helped to make it happen. Karmic

energies were definitely at work. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
