Hi Claire,

Hope you are doing wonderful!! I have one question. Once you submit your

information to Dr R. do they send you a copy of the letter that they

submitted to your insurance company? I called the doctors office and left a

voicemail to make sure they received my info. but i know that they are

swamped, i havent heard anything?

Can you let me know.

Yes, that's how I understand it's supposed to happen. Somehow I didn't get a

copy (or a confirmation that my info had been sent), so I emailed Dr. R. and

he emailed me a copy. Most of the folks I've talked to though have gotten it

automatically after submitting their info.

Greetings Everyone ...

I need some guidance and I'm certain this is the place where I'll

find it. I have begun the process for obtaining the procedure with

Dr.R but I'm a bit confused about the order in which the steps are

taken. After completing the patient info online I received a letter

to my insurance company from Dr. R requesting approval. Does this

mean Dr. R has sent the original to my company (BCBS of NC)? If so,

do I need to follow up the request in some way? Did I jump the gun by

submitting the form?

What is the typical amount of time before hearing something back?

After my physical and all the other steps are complete do I make the

appointment for his clinic?
