I myself is doing really good my lupus has been in remission since Nov of last year first time in 16 yrs. I still get the aches and pains from the lupus it's just that the lupus isn't real active in my body right now. I haven't felt this good in a long time. I finally feel like a real person who isn't sick at all. But i thought about last week my face was red and me and my dr thought maybe i was going into a flare so he put meon the predisone pack and now i am off of it and my face is all clear again. since the last time i have talked to your heard from you i lost my grandpa 2 days after christmas and i just lost my uncle last week. So other then that i am doing really good for one. Sweetie you and your family are in my prayers and thoughts. It is so good to hear from you again. I been thinking about you here lately. Love Kimi Hey guys, This is your long time lupie Cill....Just a update on my health I've been in a Lupus flair since Nov 03 and it is like the energiser bunny it keeps going and going and going.with no end in site. besides the fact I hate my Rhumatologist I'm losing my health insurance huge bummer I have been too stressed to deal with it thus the reason i havent been checking in infact I just change myself to getting mail and it looks like we have to file bankrupcy we just cant make ends meet. thus MORE STRESS Oh yeah!!!!!Oh I went to see Mel Gibsons Movie and Loved it and will see it again. it really effected my live in a positive way and becaues of the way it effected me my family and I Dan, and me are going to church again. All you that have been keeping me in your prayers please continue cause My sis had to have surgery thursday for a tummer on her overy. and becaues of our money troubles i've been working more. Can some one please up date me on the members ie:M.M.,Angie, Normi, Trudy, sandra, Kimi, and anyone else i've forgoten. incase you dont have my personal email here it is butterfly101558@.... take care and Know I love you allLove and Hugs Cill...... I am now a whopping 57 yrs. old. I have had lupus since about the age of 16. I wasn't properly dxed until about 42 when my arthritis symptoms and fatigue got so bad. It is common for people my age to go for many years with different Dr's dxing different parts of your body. I finally went to a Rheumy and he put all the different body sicknesses all together into one thing,,,,,,systemic lupus erythmatosis. I acquired TMJ dysfunction at the age of about 33. I used to have it so bad I was disabled with it and had to lye down with a wet hot pad on my face all day. With the help of a specialist, I feel better and wear a mouth guard most of the time. Since then I have had cancer, a small stroke, arthritis, osteoporosis, degenerative disk disease, fibromyalgia, memory and thinking problems, and depression. Actually I have suffered with severe depression on and off since a teen. I hope I'm not depressing you We still have fun on this post line. I'm 45 with a boy he is 12 and in 6th grade, and husband Dan. i've slept all day and i feel so guilty for not cleaning my house and cooking dinner but i'm soooooo tired and my head hurts. My health insurance ends at the end of march I wish i knew what to do about managaing my health.
