Guest guest
Hi all! this is 's mom Leah. i don't know if i would say if that was ENcouraging or DIScouraging!! wow...some of those kids sounds like seasoned professionals compared to my jacob. he will be 4 on Jan. 6 and , your Tanner has him beat hands down even on his first recording on there. when jacob tries to sing " happy birthday " it sounds all like aaaahhhh eeeeee iiiirrrr daaaa oooohh u. and i THOUGHT that he was doing so much better! wow. now i realize how far he REALLY has to go. i will try to find a way to record his speech and put him on there to let ya'll see how he sounds....it is just unreal....i could not even find just one that sounded close to how he sounds....hey question, would i be able to record him on my cell phone and then email it to myself and then email it to all of you? i wonder if that would work....i have a camera phone and i know that i can send multimedia messages to other cell phones but i will try doing that....i really do want all of you to see and hear my little jacob. i am sitting here in sobs right now. although i am very happy for all of the progress that your children have made to those of you that have already put your recording on that talking page.... With love and tears.. Leah, 's Mom With Love Always, Tommie Leah [ ] Re: new member I just went to the debtsmart.net website and listened to recordings of kids that are around my son's age (3 and a half). The kids on the website actually make different sounds. I would be thrilled if my son could do that! He can't. He really only makes one sound. I am more discouraged and confused than ever. Could my son be misdiagnosed? Is there something other than apraxia that could cause his lack of speech? Does anyone have any advice? > > > I posted a few days back with no responsces.
