1) I loved the way you put that, ya know, Deanna inviting us into her home etc..., thought that was very good.

2) Did I miss something about a new baby? Where and when did Amir come from? Fill me in please!!

Oh my goodness I think in all of this confusion I forgot to tell you guys! Wed night at about 5:00 I got a phone call from a caseworker that had placed our daughter Bridget with us nearly five years ago. She said a fellow caseworker was sitting in the office with a five month old baby that she had just picked up from the hospital and she had no where to take him. She said she didn't know why but she just all of a sudden thought of us. I am so bad, I told her of course, bring him right over without even asking , lol. He is a cutie and we should have him around three to four months. I guess cps got a call on his mom a few weeks ago and when they got there they found him literaly near death with rsv virus and some other issues. There were crack pipes and pot sitting out all over the place and I guess it was dirty beyond anything this worker has ever seen. She called an ambulance because the baby's breathing was so bad she didn't want him to die on the way in. I guess he was on ventilators and all kinds of stuff until the day they called me. Anyway, was happy that I said yes, especially when he found out he is just a loaner, lol. Mom has three months to clean herself up and also the house and the casemanager really thinks this girl will do it. I hope so, just once I would like to see one of these parents care enough to just do what is required of them.

All of this happened the same day that we had baby Keyone at the specialist for his breathing issues and he dx'd him with reactive airway disease, asthma (I thought those where the same) acid refulx and irritable bowel. They gave him 7 prescriptions, one was a beathing machine. He is doing SO much better. Just the first night with the svn machine he was sticking his face in the mist, it was like he couldn't get enough. He has gone to bed at 8:30 and slept through the night (NEVER has) he wakes up and his nose is dry, that's a first, and his diapers are right for the first time. He also has quit pushing on his tummy in the middle of the night crying saying ow ow. So now we have two babies using the svn machines and Keyone has all of the others. I think we should open a pharmacy between them and myself.lol Okay, this is long enough

a C., What a night you must have had, honey. I remember those emergency placement calls

I used to get. I hope this baby's mama can get her act together, too. Blessings on you, MM
