Guest guest
, that is a heck of a lot of weight to lose in a week, esp when he wasn't actually fasted - sounds like he def needs that cal increase, and hopefully the other issues will resolve too with that change...without the seizures returning of course.... Whatever moves you make now can be reversed if need be, you know the point cal-wise at which he is def seizure free, so you at least now have that to work with. Based on that 2 pound loss, I think you are going to have to try the 10% increase and just see what happens. Otherwise continued weight loss like that could lead to him going catabolic like did, and that is not a place you want to be... If he starts seizing again, I would back off on the cals again and slowly inch them up in 25-50 cal increments instead. Good luck, ----- Original Message ----- From: lloydandleslie@... Also, he has lost 2 pounds in a week. I know that he should not be doing that. Any thoughts
Guest guest
, I had the same reaction to the weight loss...yikes and the paleness. He is weak and fidgety. Its just plain weird. We did get mixed up on supplements this weekend and just figured that out too so hopefully we will get things resolved. We went up 75 calories and put them 25 at each meal, left snacks the same at 100 calories. If all is well and he doesn't gain weight, we'll go up the rest in a week or so. I definately don't want to end up like did. This diet is sooo hard to figure out but I'm not complaining as we are not seeing any seizures. I'll keep you posted
