Guest guest
Hi group, just read Dr. Nase's post on hydrocortisone and immediately ran to my cabinet. I recently purchase a gel from acneworld.com. Its an anti-inflamatory moisturizer for people with acne rosacea and people with over-active seb glands as I have. I'm now concerned because the label reads hydrocortisone as the 6th ingredient out of 8. Should I be that concerned or toss it out the window. Can someone take a look and let me know what they think. Thanks Diane
Guest guest
I don't know about that one in particular But even Clinique had a creme a few years ago with hydro-cort. They gave me a sample, which I couldn't even bear to open! I forget what it was called. Emergency Creme? Hopefully it is off the market. Guest guest
Hi: (sorry this a little late from the post of 3/15/) I also purchased the refirming gel from Dr. Grekin (he was my dermotologist) I found it very irritating which is odd cause the hydrocortisone is supposed to reduce irritation. But at the time I think I was flaring from hydrocortisone as I had used it for too many months as well as oral steroids to combat what I thought was an allergic reaction from a strong glycolic acid peel (turned out to be rosacea). He prescribed it anyway. And I didnt like it. I wouldnt recommend it.
