Guest guest
The 2 s, Hi, my doctor allows me to have 400 I Us of vitamon E a day. I am 62 years old and a grandma. Hallie Subject: Re: carnosine- (Jess's mom) Hi - OK - the Carn-Aware has 200mg. of Carnosine per capsule, 2.5mg. Zinc, and 25IU's of Vit. E. Since gets 3 capsules per day - triple those numbers. I'll be searching on-line today and will play around w/numbers. You have to really watch Vit. E as it is a fat soluble vitamin, right? I doubt they have any tablets less than 50 or 100IU's. Figures since currently takes 75 - plus the 30IU's he gets from his Whole Life Cal/Mag./Zinc III vit. Do you give Jess more Vit. E than the RDA? Any brand of Vit. E you particularly prefer? THANKS! Guest guest
Well... I ordered the NOW brand of Carnosine - couldn't find Vit. E (on Iherb anyway) that was lower than 400IU's in a tablet form as opposed to the softgels. I'll look at our grocery store. Also ordered some hemp oil - figured I'd give that a shot. still takes 990mg. of Carnitor - have to take him in for more blood work soon to check his levels now that we've been supplementing about 2.5months. Would really like to increase that. 's actually doing OK. Had his last big seizure on Nov. 18. They seem to occur about every 2 wks. before 4-6am - still can't figure that out - so we're a bit over our " regular " time frame. YEAH. Behavior/energy are great. Has very recently been babbling more " speech " sounds like ma-ma, da-da, bye-bye, and ball. Inconsistant but better than the " BLAH " I've been used to. Has had a couple of ever so brief partial's (like 30sec.) BUT... overall doing very well. We've been at this 3.5:1 ratio now for about a month and I actually think I'm just now recognizing the benefits and potential. Consistent ketones here which is encouraging news. I'm just thrilled to hear that Jess is doing so well. She's definitely an inspiration to all of us. Her wean appeared to be relatively uneventful other than the stress associated w/each day, I'm sure - ha ha. It's great to touch base w/you - thanks for asking about Coop.
