My friend's daughter cannot eat store-bought eggs. However, their

neighbor's chicken eggs pose no problems.

To Cynicaltomorrow,

It just depends on whether or not your child is truly allergic to eggs or not.

It could be a chemical sensitivity or both. It's hard to tell. I was thinking it

was illegal to give chickens hormones that are to be consumed by humans. I just

remember reading it on the package of the chicken I buy. I know that chickens

eat grains and corn though which are banned on our diet, wonder if there is a

connection there? Just wondering, that is not a question that someone has to

answer (just introspecting). I am not exactly sure why duck eggs are different.

That is just what my daughter's allergist/pediatrician told me and apparently

she was right. If you can eat eggs I would highly recommend that you do. They

are a great source of sulfur and sulfur helps greatly in detoxing for heavy

metals such as mercury!!
