This might be a controversial post, but I would like some opinions.

I'm a weight lifter, who also suffers from rosacea. I am hoping to

take a supplement known as creatine to enhance my performance during

and after my workouts. I am not about to give up my exercise routine

because of rosacea, and i was wondering if anyone has had any bad

affects with creatine (relating to rosacea).

Thanks everyone,

Adam

I was on that stuff back in the day pre-rosacea. Terrible stuff, it does

help with lifting because of water retention, but it's murder on the

kidneys and liver. It gave me extreme stomach aches and some experts are

even saying it may be carsnogenic int he recommended dosage (cancer

causing). If you want to supplement, especially without taxing your kidnesy

and liver which I'm sure really help with rosacea, stick to protein powders

like Myoplex, that Creatine could be very dangerous down the road. The body

produces small amounts and small amounts are found in meat, but taking large

doses could be really bad news.

Hey if you want to enhance your performance start

taking some Glutamine. That stuff rocks.

It's almost as effective as Creatine when it comes to

growing muslces, however, it's safe and there is no

side-effects if taken in moderation. AIDS patients and

people in coma are administered Glutamine to help them

retain their muscles... Glutamine makes you recover

from long workouts a lot faster, makes you grow more

muscles easier , boosts your immune system and etc.

just lookup some info on www.google.com to get more

info on that supplment.

Regards,

SC.
