Should be 1.020 or " darker " 1.015, 1.010 etc. Zaki was also all of the symptoms

you are experiencing as well and he was definitely dehydrated too. When we

hydrated Zaki " too much " though his keytones went lower than we wanted - but

right now sounds like you need that! Good luck! I will pray the fluids to go

down and better all around. I know how stressful this can be trying to get the

right balance. Let me know how it goes. If he stays clammy too - I would

consider getting a glucometer. so you can check to make sure he does not get

hypoglycemic - we found a " decent " one for about $30.00 and I only use it when I

am afraid of his blood sugar too low. But sounds like maybe just hydration as

the culprit.

Re: Paleness/ clammy/irritable

I just checked his ketones and they were 160 at 1 pm. Is that too high? He

is only on the 2:1 ratio. I'm shocked that he is reacting this way.

I think you are right and we do have the dehydration better under control.

I just have to stay on top of him and let him have what he wants which is red

drinks. I hate him drinking the red dye because he has ADD issues and I've

heard that it can increase hyperactitivy but at this point he can have it.

He is doing great on the diet. We've had more sz free days and a few am

seizures on 2 days since being on it again!!

Thanks for your help
