Guest guest
Hey guys, I had to brag a little about yesterdays (friday july 14th) GREAT DAY! Abby was in our county fair! She was in the lead line class (beginners) for the English riding show. She had a great time, and her instructor said Abby was the best one in the ring, out of 5 children. (Although I know she is a little partial, Abby has a great relationship with her instuctor.) http://www.ocobserver.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article? AID=/20060715/NEWS/607150316 Here is the article, however there isn't a picture of her in the paper. And the staff writer didn't add anyting about apraxia. He asked me " how did you get your daughter involved in horseback riding " And I specifically told him, " Abby has a neurological disorder, Apraxia, which inhibits consitent correct speech. Horseback riding is used as a theraputic approach for her. " Uggg, he didn't write any of that. I know the aritcle is supposed to be about the " fair " not a child with apraxia or any disability. Anyways, we had a great time. Abby, and the other 4 kids all got blue ribbons, and a beany baby pony. Too cute. And of course WE took tons of pictures and video!!
