Guest guest
Hi a, Here's my 2 cents on the Xenical. I was on it for about 3 months and lost a whopping 5 pounds (110 to go!). Without going into details, the side effects are, well, GROSS! You really have to be careful how much fat is in your meal. After many " accidents " I had to give it up. I didn't have any pain or anything but it wasn't worth the constant worry of whether I would make it to the bathroom. And, when you do make it to the bathroom, it is disgusting! Good Luck! Sincerely, Bernardine MGB 4/17/00 - 2 more weeks - yippee!! > Hi all! > > Over the past several weeks, I have been doing some real soul searching while Ihave been in " nomail " mode. I have been trying alternative methods in getting in shape. I have been trying to get hard labor jobs that would " pay " me to exercise, but my wrists cannot deal with the heavy lifting and with the balance problem I have due to Minier's disease, I found it rather hazardous. I tried to get a doctor to prescribe xenical but they wanted me to pay all this money visiting dieticians and psychiatrists of course at my expense. Am I the only wierdo out there whose weight problem is not an appetite problem? What is it with these so called professionals who think that every obese person is appetite driven.... or are they and I'm the odd ball?? Anyway, so.. I don't know whether to pick up the ball again and start working towards the surgery or just keep trying different options. I know you don't have the answers. I'm just.... what do you call it... " sorting my laundry " so to speak. Thanks for listening. > > a > > >
