Hi there ,

First you make sure you are using a flax only flax oil, and not one that is high

in fiber as that has carb in it. Next the most important thing to remember is

not heat the flax, you can get fairly ill, it changes the properties when it is

heated.

I use flax in the morning with her develed egg aprox 18 grams of flax for that

meal.

I'll use it on her salads with a little balsamic which in figured into the diet

too.

I'll use it on her fresh mozzerela salads, basically anything which is not

cooked. I use the olive oil when I am cooking. You may need to gradually lower

the olive oil ratio so he can get used to the taste, it's not as nice as olive

oil. I always take advantage of the pinch of herbs allowance, garlic, pinch of

salt and pepper.

I never really noticed it helped with her bowl movements as she is taking

doculace (i think that is how it is spelt) as a stool softner. She would have a

horrible time with constipation. I know using less saturated fat has helped,

and now that you mention it, she has regular BM's now.

Oh one last thing, make sure you are using the organic flax in the black bottle.

It should be found in the refrigerated section of the grocery stores, and keep

it refrigerated at home, other wise it will go rancid, hence the no cooking with

it rule.

I wish you much success, I hope he finds seizure freedom soon. We are still

searching and fine tuning for Stella.
