Guest guest Posted September 9, 2006 Report Share Posted September 9, 2006 I was there about a week - 2 weeks ago and the manager came to the table and we talked, he did say to watch for changes coming soon. They were adding things so I would think that's what they're doing. I told him how many people talked about their gluten free menu and that's why we were there and not at McD's and he said it's been a great success and never mentioned getting rid of it.. just that it was changing. I think we need to be a little careful about posting things without verifying them. This is the kind of thing that leads to alot of, hopefully unnecessary confusion. I can't imagine they would leave it on the website if they weren't offering it. Go to www.outback.com OUTBACK WARNING!!! I have heard from my support group that Outback has removed their gluten-free menu. They may be making changes to it and putting it back out, but for now (from what I hear), their gf menu is not being used. Sorry if this has already been brought to your attention. I ate at my local Outback this past Thursday night to celebrate my 20 wedding anniversary, had the Alice springs chicken, as always, to die for lol I wish ppl would check out these things before posting them. The reason he gave for the menus being pulled is that some of their suppliers have been changing ingredients recently and this affects our gluten free menu items. He did assure me they are working to resolve the issue. Sounds like we are getting conflicting information. I'm glad this manager took the time to make sure what I ordered was safe.
