Remember the time you were enegetic and healthy,

emotionally, physically, and socially wealthy ?

Along came the wolf, and it took a nibble,

instead of chowing down on a bowl of kibble.

Along came the butterfly, it lands on your face,

making it's mark, and trespassing on your space.

The joints felt lonely, so they started to ache,

Now what I ask, for goodness sake.

Fibromyalgia introduced itself to me,

Go away I say, Let me be.

What is this?, my hair is now gone,

Should I replace it with the front

lawn?

I could be a punk rocker, have green hair,

Should I try it, do I dare?

Who is it?, Someone is at my door,

Oh, it's lupus, bringing me more.

A bag of mixed stuff, filled to the hilt,

Give me a break, in a day, Rome was not built.

I am tired now, leave me alone,

Go away, find yourself another home.

Whaddya mean you are with me for life,

When did we marry, I ain't your wife!!!

I want back my old life, where can it be,

it is gone for good, woe is me.

Take those pain meds, let's get loopy,

But they make me constipated, I cannot poopy.

We lupies are a mixed bag from A to Z,

Take those diuertics , they'll make you pee.

Now that all is said and done,

It's time to rest, this ain't no fun.
