Guest guest
Hi. My son just had another OAC test. I cannot interpret it like a doctor, but what I got was this: My son originally had 2 types of fungal metabolytes. One has cleared up completly since the SCD, but the other has DOUBLED!! He also has a brand new one; something he did not have one speck of before SCD is now in the " high " range. His hippuric acid has also more than doubled. So.... his yeast has actually WORSENED since he's been on the SCD (November), but his behavior, skills, and health continue to improve drastically every day. I am thrilled with his improvements, but I don't know what to do about the yeast. He is 100% legal, with NO illegals of any kind. Can anyone offer some help?? Congrats on all the wonderful improvements! What foods is he eating and how are they prepared? How are his bm's, frequency etc.? Are you using any probiotics, yogurt?
