Guest guest Posted March 2, 2004 Report Share Posted March 2, 2004 hi joanne from boston and all others. i don't know if i belong here. i nearly died during a recent delivery. placenta abruption then blood clots and pulmonary embolism. apparently i "acquired" lupus anticoagulent. i'm trying to figure out why i "contracted" it--accutane, perhaps--and how to live with it and i'm getting rather depressed about the whole thing. i was looking for a support group. but lupus anticoagulant is not necessarily lupus. i've read alot about it but still have unanswered questions. am hoping to meet people who are living with it. thus i am here. joanne, i'm originally from a little town named harvard by ayer and from an even smaller town, berlin by hudson -- i miss the east coast as i am now in missouri. i'm 43. thanks for the welcome. susan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
