This may be useful as a way to raise money (I got the e-mail from a friend):

If you have ever wanted to raise money for a little-known, perhaps local cause, I have the key to make it happen!

Mark (my hubby) created a web-site that allows people to do small scale fund-raising for causes that they care about.

You can start your own campaign for virtually any cause - it does not have to be a nonprofit org. (some guy currently has a campaign going to raise money for his backpacking trip to Europe, haha

All you need is a PayPal Email address - so that the money people donate will be directed into a PayPal account.

It can be your personal PayPal address (and you can then write a check to the cause),

or it can be the organization's PayPal address (and all money donated will go directly to them).

Please send the link to your friends & co-workers and invite them to create campaigns for causes that are near and dear to their heart!
