Guest guest
we had fun, too! It was great to meet everyone. fell asleep as we pulled out of the parking lot! She was so tired. That's great that ELias enjoyed it so much. I think was just too tired to interact the way she normally does. Hope we can do it again (with a more well rested !). But I want to say thank you to whoever thought of it, and to Cherl, AnnMarie, and Jill for coming. I had a lot of fun, and so did my husband and kids. This morning, when I dropped Elias off at his preschool, he went running to his teacher and said " Guess what? We went to the aquarium yesterday! I saw SpongeBob! " . He is hoarse this morning because he was shouting so much yesterday. Jill - if the photos of Elias and Ian with the turtle props come out, I would love a copy. -- Bonnie
Guest guest
We had fun too. She told daddy she met " new friends at the aquarium. " I'm glad Elias liked Spongebob. I told Clara we were going to see the dinosaurs again so I think she was a little disappointed. But we still had a good time meeting all of you :-) Cheryl > I don't know who had the original idea or organized yesterday's meetup at > the Norwalk Aquarium - or maybe it just happened by osmosis. Guest guest
We also had a grand time. We've been going there since the kids were little. And one of the all time faves it the jelly fish tank. In the Baltimore aquarium it's the tank full of seahorses ... not sure if that's still there, but it was for the longest time. Our loves those two and got the jelly fish and seahorse beanie babies ages ago ... and they're still on her bed. I just ran out the last of my film so I will be dropping it off in the next day or two. So, when it comes in, hopefully we'll have Elias and Ian and with the turtle shells, and maybe one of Ian holding him kind'a upside down -- not sure if the flash went off for that one. Our was suitably " bored " every time a camera was aimed at her, but I know she smiled a few times during the day (grin). And I know Ian had fun ... he likes little kids. My siblings are all a bit younger than me so he is used to playing with/chasing after the younger set. And both my kids were doing Sponge Bob riffs on the way home. That or singing along to Weird Al and Led Zepplin. (what a mix!) We should try and do a Dinosaur park outing in the spring. We can make casts of dinosaur footprints. It's really gloppy and messy and fun! Or go dig for garnets in Roxbury. Nothing like giving a kid a rock hammer and telling he is ALLOWED to hit the rocks as much as he wants. (grin) best to all -- Jill

(grin) Oh I am so bummed that I couldn't make it, but I will tell you, I couldn't move on Sunday. It was painful to just think of lowering myself into a car seat. Today is a little better, but I am geting some good chuckles from people who know I did the race and who see me trying to avoid anything that goes down. If you do any of these other fun things, jut make sure they're not the weekend of the Boston Marathon, OK? Trish

Guest guest
Boston is always on a Monday (Patriot's Day). Tom CLAIMS he is not going to do it, but he wants to qualify when he runs New York in 3 weeks. So who knows, he may be thinking to run it again. > > > In a message dated 10/16/2006 7:24:00 P.M.
