Hiya Helen,

Cruises are great and sometimes you can get some great deals at the last

minute if you don't have a set place you want to go. We were looking into a

cruise for my mom and found out with some of them you have to book a year in

advance.

I do have another suggestion too, and yes i am kind of partial because i

live here. How about Savannah, Georgia? In May it's warm here but not too

warm. Lots of historical things to see and tours to take. River street is

filled with wonderful little shops and fantastic resturants. there are some

beautiful B & B's here as well as some stunning hotels (right on river

street). If i am not mistaken there are a few of the hotels that have spas

as well in the hotel. You can take a dinner cruise down the Savannah River

(the food is fantastic). Or a night time carriage tour, the haunted one is

just fun, the drivers all are humours and informative.
