Guest guest Posted February 29, 2004 Report Share Posted February 29, 2004 Hi Ardie, I think my sores are caused by sinus drainage......I started taking an antihistamine for the sinus, and bought some Bag Balm for the sores. My nose is still sore.....but the Bag Balm really helps......it's getting better......I had been in a flare with an upper respiratory infection to go along with my rash for about a month. Had to go to doc. and get a shot of Steroids twice.......then increase my dosage of prednisone to 60mg. aday ,then taper back down to 10mg. aday over a months time. I'm happy to report that my rash is now all gone.....for the time being, anyway.....but I still am having drainage from my sinuses....... C. LONEWOLFLINDA I too have sores in my nose, they just never seem to go away completely. They get worse, then better, but are more or less always there. Hope someone has an answer. I too have tried antibiotics [salve], vicks, vaseline, all to no avail.
