Guest guest
I had the same problem with my daughter when she was on the diet, and her neuro said it had nothing to do with the diet, but now i wonder, what about chapped lips? She had a problem with that to. (briana 7)
Guest guest
Yes, actually they did go away. I always thought the chapped lips was because of the fluid restriction. Also, it was after the diet, i started a on B-complex and B-6 vitamins, and i always figured that was what made her stop bruising. There are so many questions and so little answers! Guest guest
Hi everyone- has been on the diet now 1 year. His blood levels are all normal and he is on the prescribed vitamin/mineral supplements. He is often covered in dark bruises. Right now he has one the size of a baseball on his knee. Do any of you have any advice on what to do about this? My husband and I are worried that this could lead to further medical issues. Have any of your doctors told you why this happens? Also, 's hands are frequently cold and this is a concern as well. Thanks in advance for any advice and/or info Staci
Guest guest
He doesn't have the chapped lips but could that be related to the fluid restriction? When a went off the diet did both of those issues resolve? Guest guest
Hi Staci We've been on the diet since Feb and we've noticed more bruising and also nosebleeds with high ketones (but never had high blood pressure). Have not been given any clues as to what might be going on. You're probably in good company with some members kids but I know it would be nice to know what was happening and what the implications were. I'll now probably find someone else has given you the answer if I had just bothered to read the later posts! Rose mum of Ben (9)

Guest guest
I think that it can be due to the very poor nutrition on the diet or possibly as a side effect of some of the AED's. What supplements are you using? What meds? Bill Staci wrote: > > Hi everyone- > has been on the diet now 1 year.
