I've been like a balloon lately. -. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Prednisone will make you hold water like crazy! Not only that .. but prednisone has the unique ability to create fat pads. These pads form along the jaw line and in front of the ears on the cheek giving one the appearance of having chipmunk cheeks; across the back of the neck and shoulders creating a " hunch back-look " , and across the stomach making you look pregnant. Men will also get pads of fat on the chest causing them to appear to have large breasts. Such is the fun of water weight, fat gain and such from prednisone.
