Guest guest
O.K., nobody laugh at me.......... My husband and I can't figure out where we want to go on vacation. He has 12 days off at the first of May. We have ample funds, well enough, it will probably be the most for along time. We have kinda narrowed it down to a all inclusive spa (we think, unless we get any better ideas)so now my question is where? We have been online and looked at Hot Springs,Bahamas and Sedona,AZ. but we were wondering if anybody knows anything about where would be the best place to go. He's always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon but he really wants me to be pampered. We've had a rough year, long story. Another time I'll vent, I'm to up this morning to go into it. So, any input would be great! Oh, by the way, my B/P is still up and I had all my test done, even more than I thought. I went to a new Dermatoligst and they did another punch bx on my rash, but instead of my back, they did the on on my breast. Fun stuff, let me tell ya. Results will be in later this week and I go back to my G.P. on the 8th. I'll let ya'll know what happens. Until next time, hugs and kisses, Helen
Guest guest
Helen, How sun sensitive is your case? I mean, going where it is warm and sunny might not be the best bet for you. However, have you even considered a cruise like the Inland Passage to Alaska? My father took that trip after my mother passed on, and he had a wonderfully relaxed and pampered time of it. He had RA very bad, and we called him the "bionic daddy" because he had both elbows, both knees, and both hips replaced due to joint damage from the disease. He was still ballroom dancing during that cruise, too. Anyway, they have spas on board, lots of great food, wonderful things to see and do, and all at YOUR pace. You might think about that idea. Loving hugs, MM
Guest guest
Helen, We try to go on a cruise every few years. Although most relate cruises to the sun, there is alot you can do out of the sun. The shows are nice, coffee bars, dancing, food, casinos and there are spa's too. If you get a nice room with a balcony...you can rest with the door open and get some fresh air while hubby does what he likes. If you haven't tried it---you should. gini I need some input, please!!!
