You are you and you made a mistake. We all make mistakes. We regret our

mistakes and then forgive ourselves and go on about our business. This is

what you MUST do. It doesn't matter what anyone else has done in the past,

or even you. Look to the FUTURE. Make arrangements to have the surgery as

soon as you are ready and Dr R is willing. Get some relaxation tapes and

play them every day. Concentrate on relaxing your mind. Go for nice long

walks and comune with nature. Soon you'll be ready. Pray and ask everyone

to pray for you. I am praying for you now. Your guidance will come to you

and you will regain your confidence and composure. Blessings,

,

I feel for you. I dont view this as anything but it was NOT your day...for

WHATEVER reason. Maybe you had some " unfinished business " . I would go to the

psychologist/psychiatrist.....*not* because I think you are crazy...but I do

think you THOUGHt about this and decided then was not the time YOU were

ready. You did what you had to do to survive the moment. One GOOD

suggestion.....you need to be the FIRST patient on the schedule next time so

you don't get backed up with waiting. Maybe you will be so sleepy you will

welcome general anesthesia......Lol

I personally think we ALL need psychological counseling.....not that it

should be required before surgery but it would not hurt.It would be nice to

know there is a professional you can talk to post op if you need them and to

gauge your progress.
