Okay ... then how is the following Sunday the 15th?

I'm okay waiting longer to go if it means we can get more of us there

together.

before so I might be dead.

But if I manage to make it to the finish line alive, I'll be slow, but I could

handle the aquarium. I've been there before and it's small enough to crawl

I need to doublecheck the 15th. I think we are free, but need to make sure.

day after a marathon. so I will play along like I am going to do this, and maybe

Hey Trish, you will want to come. Here is why. The day after the marathon,

you are

going to be on a marathon high. You will want to talk about nothing but.

Your

family will be ready for you to shut up already. So the best possible

solution is

for you to sit and talk endlessly about marathon strategy with Tom, who with

3 weeks to go before his marathon, will also want to talk about nothing but.

In fact, I am quite ready for him to talk to someone other than ME about

marathoning.

Trust me. I am a veteran - Tom has run 9 marathons before.

I've barely run a mile, much less a marthon, but I'm sure Bonnie is

right :-) Hope you, Trish, and everyone else can make it. I can get a

bit of a bargain on the aquarium tickets, 6 for $50, about $8/ticket.

We are in for the 25th. My kids are both looking forward to it.

Have you guys set a time to meet? They are open from 10 am until 5 pm. I

was going to suggest 11 so as not to make it a late day for everyone. Is that

okay? Let me know -- I'm easy! (easy, but never cheap, grin)

Trish -- I wish you luck! I don't run, never did like to run. IN fact, I've

always hated it, even when it was part of training. I found it boring. I'd

spend a million years on a stationary bike reading instead of running --

whenever I could. I'd bike, climb, hike, even split wood, anything but run. Now

I am

a round little-old-lady who doesn't run, ever.

I know you'll ache in places you didn't even know you had muscles, but it'll

be great. No matter how you place, you're my hero for even trying it. Best

gone back and forth finding people we should be meeting. One we call the

" front " and the other is near the Imax.

I'll vote for the main entrance, main lobby, " front " -- whatever. Not the

Imax end. Although I can easily post my kids at that end just to make sure no

Have fun all. I did have one FYI. In my part of the state many of

the public libraries have tickets to museums, etc that you can use

free on your library card. Before you spend $ you might want to check

and see if the Aquarium is among those available from the good folks

in your library.

Oh yes, good point, . And ditto if you already belong to a science

museum - they often have reciprocity with other science museums in the

country.

Yes, you are right. The Imax end is very cramped though. I think the

main end is a better idea.

I wish we were a little less than 4 hours away....I know would love

to hang out with other Deaf/HOH kids

He doesn't know any! (well 1 6 hours away...but that's it)

I just called the Norwalk Library information, and they were " unable

to take my call at this time. " I'll try again later. Thanks for the

suggestion. I know the library has tickets to the Stamford Nature

Center, so they might very well have them for the aquarium too.

Norwalk library only has one pass, and it's only good for the same day

you check it out. The library doesn't open till 1pm on Sunday, so I

couldn't get it anyway.
