I met my current husband online, in an AOL chatroom. He was in AL, I was

in PA (about 1100 miles away). We chatted online for a year, then talked

on the phone for 6 months. Even though we exchanged pictures, I never

met him until the day I left with him. The day we met, he had driven a

U-Haul from AL to PA. We loaded up all my stuff, drove back again and

moved me into his house. We've been together for 4.5 years, and married

for 3 years. It was a very hard move for me, I gave up my house, my

business and regular contact with a very large, closeknit family and

friends. I still miss home terribly, but I made the right decision, even

if these people have never heard of Scrapple and you can't get a decent

hoagie, cheesesteak or pizza to save your life. :D

I must say that I am very curious to hear about everyone elses

experiences with meeting people online. I realize that it isn't diet

related, so I don't want to get anyone in trouble. I am just curious.

Your story just brought back a lot of memories. I spent about 3 years in Denver,

and let me tell you, I am no city girl. The only thing that place had going for

it was the beautiful Rocky Mountains. These folks thought scrapple was a board

game with some tiles!!!

I won't go into details, but lets just say you probably wouldn't eat it. Imagine

a big hogs head on your plate. Oh yum.
