I even banned almost all goodies from the house (with the exception of the smallish amount we're allowing for Christmas Eve and Day) and then it happened: A client dropped off a large box of Godiva chocolates Another client dropped off a plate of homemade cookies Another client dropped off fudge A neighbor dropped off an applesauce cheesecake Mom sent a box of cookies ( " You can't have Christmas without a few cookies, Autumn! " ) The paper company I use sent a tin of cookies A co-worker of my husband's sent home huge cake-like sugar cookies. That's IT!!! I'm only HUMAN, people. It's a CONSPIRACY! It's the government!!!
