Guest guest
, Well, I'm not so sure we are heading in the right direction but I am glad to have the Felbatol down because of the side effects. For us, it seems that the increased dosages of drugs don't have any impact on seizure control but it does have an impact on his behaviors which are getting more difficult to deal with as he is getting older. I'm curious about Doose Syndrome. Your description fits s seizures types although he's never had a grand mal just myoclonics (drops) and absences. Recently, he's had gastro intestinal issues since July and we've wavered with seizure control. Now he has a " skin Virus " and I think called Molluscum which I think is causing more seizures. He is still on the Atkins diet but I'm just confused as to what direction to take in his treatment. How is ? I think I've read that he is doing well and coming off depakote. Good luck
