Guest guest
I had about 6-7 ERCP's the year before my transplant due to many, many stones in the ducts. although I ended up with a severe GI bleed once and an episode of cholangitis following another, I never had pancreatitis. My GI said your risk decreases with every subsequent ERCP - this was corroborated by the GI at my transplant facility. I don't know the reason but hope this was his one and only episode.
