Jill,

This is wonderful news! What an encouragement Claire is to all of us!

We've just gone through 3 months of increased seizures. I have no idea why.

We've done a lot of fine tuning which hasn't helped. We've finally got a

break from a seizure every 2 nights. Shan hasn't had a visible sleep

seizure in about a week. Surprisingly, she did have an awake one today.

She never has awake seizures. It seems that when she over exerts herself

and gets really hot, something triggers a seizure. This happened last

February. I hope we can prevent any further ones. But in spite of having a

tonic clonic seizure, two hours later she did her home school math without

any problems and her younger brother taught her to ride his bike without any

training wheels. This is quite the accomplishment for her. At age 9 she

has struggled with balance and coordination. To finally master balancing on

a bike is a big accomplishment! May Claire continue to move leaps and

bounds forward!
