Hello, it's been a bit, sorry. I've been trying to catch up in

school as I got so far behind with Kalob being in the hospital and

such. We've also been having problems with school, finally decided

to pull him out of the one he was in and put him back at the old one

after the nurse was going to send home some extra pills of his that

happened to be his seizure meds!

She insisted that he was on 600mg tabs and these were 400mg, he's

never been on 600mg tabs, which proves my point, that they screwed

up his meds which landed him in the hospital with felbamate level of

78, when it's normally at least 102. Now he's on a higher dose and

his seizures are a bit worse and i'm wondering if the unnecessary

uppage was too much as his levels are now 150's. Don't know if that

makes any sense... There was much more to pulling him out, but I

didn't feel that he was safe there and there was no talking to the

teacher, she just didn't understand a word I said...

Diet wise Kalob's doing pretty good. I finally got him to eat mayo!

He LOVES his cheesecake and keto pancakes!

Ketones are holding at 160 still and he's finally eating all 3 meals

and starting to get hungry inbetween so we do have two snacks a day

if necessary. Now our problem is he is into EVERYTHING! hehe...

We had to go out and buy two baby gates and stack them in the

doorway as he learned to pull the wheel chair that we were using as

a gate out of the doorway. The only gate I could find that was tall

enough was 100.00 and I wasn't paying that much! He's almost 4ft

tall, he's getting so big!

Sooo, Kalob should be back in school regularly by Wednesday,

hopefully i'll have more time to spend on here... Please don't

discount me, I really enjoy talking with you guys. You have helped

me more than you can imagine to get through the rough points so far,

and I hope that I can return the favor sometime...
