Hi Friends,

WACMA has an exit survey in place that just asks a couple of brief questions

when you leave the group. It helps us evaluate what we can do to make things

better.

This member has left the list and said we could post her response :-) It is so

nice to see answers like this:

1)What is your impression of WACMA, the online support group?

> My impression of WACMA is " Absolutely Excellent " I have " observed only "

for 2 and a half years after being successfully decompressed with laminectomy

and dura graph in Oct '99 in Alberta Canada. I had 17mm herniation, severe

mystagmus (saw double at every angle for over a year) balance

problems,nausea, head & neck pressure,numbness,etc etc. & spent most of

1999 in bed. I was blessed with a quick diagnosis and surgery (all within 5

months) and am grateful to be an active hockey and soccer mom , working part

time and able to enjoy life to its fullest. Nystagmus and balance improved

over 90 %, still a few minor symptoms but nothing like before! I listen to

my body and just go on. I really think that a positive attitude is so

important as part of the recovery process and that my doing so well today

has a lot to do with that. I especially enjoyed the success stories during

my recovery, and Chip's positive attitude too! I realise that it's probably

a lot easier to be positive when things turn out succesful as they did for

me, but do focus on what's better! I wish wellness to all of you!
