Guest guest
My daughter has a burning saltiness--it almost stings your lips. Lick your lips and then touch them to your daughter's forehead. As far as testing goes, I would insist that your daughter be screened now. Don't take no for an answer with the doctor--don't ask--tell the doctor that she/he will do the sweat test on your daughter or you will see another doctor. Sometimes you have to get ugly. And, if God forbid, your child should have this horrible disease, you need to get in the practice of being assertive with the doctors now!!!! Been there, done that and wish I had been on my pediatrician more--my daughter was not diagnosed until 14 months after months of telling the doctor that I was changing 12-15 dirty diapers a day. Just remember, this is your child and you have to protect her. I would call the doctor in the morning and say when did you schedule the sweat test-- I can do it on this day. Don't let her talk you out of it. This is too important. , mother to Ashton 3 with cf
