Guest guest
Bill, you had asked me about the values for BECEL last week and I hadn't heard back from you. Was it just curiosity? Guest guest
If you know what values the dietician is using for the BECEL margarine, yes I would definitely like to know what they are. Thanks, Bill kristansmommy wrote: > > Bill, you had asked me about the values for BECEL last week and I > hadn't heard back from you. Guest guest
Hi Bill, I just started the 3:1 ratio today. For the cottage cheese meal Kristan gets 12.5 grams of Becel, broken down it is 10 for fat, 0.13 for carb; for the chicken/veg meal she gets 7 grams of BECEL, broken down 5.60 for fat, and 0.07 for carb; one of her snacks, the cheesewhiz/becel, she gets 6.2 grams of butter, broken down it is 4.96 fat 0.06 carb. There is nothing under the protein column. I didn't list all of the ingredients for the cottage cheese and chicken meals, do you need to broken down values for those as well. Is this what you are asking? Guest guest
Yes, thanks. You are using (per dietician), per 100 gm BECEL, 80.0 gm fat, 0.0 gm protein and 1.04 gm carb. My values are, per 100 gm BECEL, 80.0 gm fat, 0.77 gm protein and 0.42 gm of carb. Both of these values would agree with the label which has per 100 gm (actually given per 10 gm), 80 gm fat, 0 gm protein and 1 gm carbohydrate. I don't which are right or wrong, if either, but they are very similar. I still haven't been able to get acurate values from the company. I am not using very much BECEL now that we are weaning, so it isn't an issue for me any more. Since the labelling requirements were relaxed it is more difficult to get values per 100 gm that are acurate for processed foods. You needn't worry about it. It's not that crucial. It is perhaps a point of interest for you. Thanks again, Bill kristansmommy wrote: > > Hi Bill, I just started the 3:1 ratio today. Guest guest
You're welcome. Thanks for the information, I'm not good at math, wow.
