Guest guest
Our son is nearly 15 years old and can only say about 4 words. We just started him on the ProEFA and ProEPA's. We're looking for more kids that are teens and still non-verbal, diagnosed with Dyspraxia/Apraxia. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi , and welcome. My daughter is 5, and apraxic. She doesn't fit the profile you were looking for, but I'm curious as to where you are. Have you seen any changes since starting the EFA's? Guest guest
Hi Dawn, We live in San Diego. We started our son on the EFA's last Saturday. So today is his 4th day at 6/3 capsules a day (2/1 3X a day). So far, I don't see a whole lot of change yet. Hopefully soon. Thanks for asking though:) in CA > > > > Our son is nearly 15 years old and can only say about 4 words. > > We just started him on the ProEFA and ProEPA's. Guest guest
Hi my name is Khalid and I’m 19. I live in Albuquerque NM. I plan to attend my 2nd year of college this fall and work around my classes. My pastime is sports, mainly basketball. I am also a huge supporter in the outreach of the CHERAB Foundation and its cause. I was diagnosed with global apraxia when I was 8. My condition was considered severe when I was a young boy. I went through speech and occupational therapies something like 13 years. Today I communicate verbally, but still can identify with what it is for those who do struggle with speech and have apraxia. Apraxia does affect people in different ways, but I’m sure there are experiences that would be seen by us in similar ways. I'd be happy to be an online friend to if he would like to contact me through e-mail, or AIM. Apraxia is just a small part of who we are and I think that it would be awesome to discuss interest. I love San Diego by the way, a favorite vacation spot! The surfs must be grand this time of year. Guest guest
Khalid, I'm curious as to what the best approch or therapy was for you. Prompt, kauffman, etc. Did you take EFA'S, do you still? Sorry my questions seem more like an interrogation. Your brief description of what you have accomplished is very inspiring, and gives me hope for my daughter who was diagnosed shortly before her 3rd birthday. She is now 5. Good luck in your 2nd year of college. And all that you inspire to be and do. Dawn in NJ > > Hi my name is Khalid and I'm 19. I live in Albuquerque NM.
