He is 19 months old and has cut two teeth in the last 3 days and we see several more about to come in. He is EXTREMELY cranky, which is totally not like him. Does anyone know if we can use Orajel? We bought the adult orajel and it says it has sodium saccharin in it. Is this a no no ingrediant? Any other ideas? He is also delayed and strictly tube fed because of aspiration. I think the gel could be a problem, but you might consider crushing a motrin pill and feeding him that. Motrin really did the trick for Lily. This was recommended by Kristan's dietitian and I have no problems with it. Do not get the grape flavour, it's a no no for keto kids. I also use Tempra INfant Drops, Cherry Flavour. You don't want anything ending in " ol " or ose " as that indicates carbs and saccharin I believe would not be ok for the diet. My little Kristan is 22 months and still teething! It takes forever! She is getting her molars in now. I hope your son's teeth come in fast. Good luck with the teething.
