Guest guest
Does anybody know a good place in the Indianapolis area, where I can get good honey, filtered, but unpasteurised? Thanks in advance. Bharathi mom to Sanjay, SCD 2 days.
Guest guest
Bharathi, We get all of our honey from beekeepers in sville. I don't know if any of the stores in Indy carry it, but you can go to sville to their store and buy it. It's called Hunter's Honey Farm. For those of you outside the local area, they have a website and you can order from it. We like the honey sticks for treats when other kids are having candy. http://www.huntershoneyfarm.com Jody mom to -6 and -8 SCD 26 months
Guest guest
Thanks Jody, I shall get it online. Any advice on the variety? They seem to have a lot of different types and I have no clue about which one to order. Bharathi mom to sanjay,5,ASD, SCD 3 days.
Guest guest
Bharathi, The clover honey is the lightest in color and flavor. If you like a stronger honey, try the wildflower honey. This is 's favorite, but he LOVES honey. prefers the clover honey. If you have some time, they give tours. You could go down and sample the different types and buy what you like in the store. It's not that far from Indy. Maybe 45 minutes. Jody mom to -6 and -8 SCD 26 months
