Hi!

's lab work came back, and except for her cholesterol being a bit

high, everything looked good. A carnitine supplement was not seen to

be needed.

Question: What is " Carnitor " and should she being getting it?

Thanks for any information... , 's mumma (keto kid since

May of this year and doing well, though not completely seizure free

yet)

Carnitor is a brand name for carnitine. It is an oral solution that does contain

trace amounts of sucrose. Hannah takes 4 cc's/day.

Hi , Kristan is on the pill form and gets 3 a day with meals.

Kristan's carnitine level is normal, but we were using it to see if

it would help raise her ketones and it did a little, not enough to

control the seizures, but I find it helps with her bowel movements,

as I have stopped giving her a laxative for the bowel movements.

I think it is carb free also.
